What thanksgiving means that you get to see your family. Every year my relatives come over to my house to play with me. We have a lot of food at thanksgiving. And that is what my family does for Thanksgiving. The most important thing about thanksgiving is the history and the family.

I like Thanksgiving because my parents make all my favorite foods. They have all the food that I’ll eat. It’s good because my mom is the best cook in my family and we hold the feast at our house. I also like Thanksgiving because the pilgrims and the Indians got together just like everybodys families get together an celebrates.

Thanksgiving means a time to see family and friends and a lot of tasty food. My grandma always makes the food at our Thanksgiving feast. Since my grandma has a job that requires making really good food, it’s always good. These are some of the things I think about on Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving. The dogs are barking, the turkey’s cooking and I’m happy to be with my family on thanksgiving day. The children are playing, the uncles and dads are watching T.V. and it’s great to be with my family. The moms and aunts are hurring to cook all the food and we’re almost ready for Thanksgiving feast. Now we’re all at the table, ready to eat, and we all love Thanksgiving. A feeling, a thought, an idea. A picture of Thanksgiving, a feeling could be glad be alive on Thanksgiving!

Togetherness, wonderful smells, happiness.
Feast
Who loves family, wonderful food, the Fall season.
Who feels thankful for her family, excited for the food,
Happy for her family to be there.
Who fears an upset stomach, having family not be there, bad food.
Who would like to see a turkey leg, mashed potatoes,
Excellent food.

Thanksgiving
By Collin Burns
Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because lots of my family comes together. We have a really big turkey. The turkey smells so good and is so delicious. My family has a tradition that we go to my Nana’s and my Papa’s house every year. Last year was the best year because I got to see my Uncle Andrew and we go to wrestle. When I was wrestling my uncle I hurt my finger. It hurt like blue blazes. We also read about the pilgrims. When it was time for dinner there was so much great-smelling food. My favorite food was cheesy mashed potatoes. The reason that I like Thanksgiving the most is because I can spend time with my family.
Our Thanksgiving
By Daniela Herrera
What happened on Thanksgiving.
It was Thanksgiving, my mom was preparing dinner, and as usual me and my little brother were fighting over the computer, just as my dad came inside back from his trip.
But things got better after my mom finished the table. We said our prayers and then we ate. My little brother ate four helpings of turkey, two slices of pie, and one big serving of mashed potatoes. I ate two pieces of turkey, one slice of pie, and some mash potatoes. My older brother, the same as me. We loved our Thanksgiving that year. The meaning of Thanksgiving to is means family togetherness.

To me Thanksgiving means family, a big feast, traveling, the Indians, and a large turkey. Every year our family goes and travels to my aunt’s house. Our entire family tries to make it and most of them do! So Thanksgiving means family and a big feast.
