Bechtel Trusts Senior BixÂ
Location: Isle Casino Hotel, Bettendorf RiverfrontÂ

Participants will have the option to do a flat 1- or 2-mile course along the Bettendorf riverfront. Race entry includes a t-shirt, on-course entertainment and access to the Walmart post-race party. Runners will start at 6 p.m. and walkers at 6:30 p.m.Â

The MercyOne Genesis Brady Street Sprints is a quarter-mile climb up Brady Street Hill. The top finishers in six categories from the time trials that took place in June and early July will be racing to win a Running Wild gift certificate, a finalist t-shirt, and a spot in the championship round that will be broadcast live on KWQC TV 6 at 7 p.m.Â

Arconic Jr. BixÂ
Location:Â East Third and Fourth streets, outside of the former Quad-City Times office
Date: Friday, July 24Â
Time:Â 6 p.m.Â
The event offers races for children ages 5 and under, with one parent or guardian running with them, and children 6-12 who race on a secured course without an adult. Children needing race assistance can participate with a Jr. Bix Buddy.
All participants receive a medal, t-shirt and entry to the festive post-race party held in the former Quad-City Times parking lot. Names of participants will be printed in the Sunday print and e-edition of the Quad-City Times and Dispatch-Argus.Â
Age groups, distances and locations:Â
5 and under: 70-yard run that starts and finishes on E. Third Street. Crawlers will move across a carpet square. Parents or a guardian are welcome to run with their child.Â
6 and 7: A half-mile run that starts and finishes on E. 4th St.Â
8 to 12: Three-quarters of a mile that starts and finishes on E. 4th St.Â

Prairie Farms Quick BixÂ

The Prairie Farms Quick Bix is a 2-mile course that starts at the same time and place as the Quad-City Times Bix 7. Participants can walk or run up Brady Street Hill, turn right onto 15th Street, then turn right and go down Perry Street and then turn left onto E. Fourth Street to the finish line near the former Quad-City Times parking lot.Â
New this year is prize money for the winners of the Quick Bix. The first man and first woman to cross the finish line in the Quick Bix each will pocket $500.
Participants will receive an official race poster and t-shirt and their name will be printed in the Sunday print and online edition of the Quad-City Times and Dispatch-Argus.Â

Quad-City Times Bix 7Â
Location: Downtown Davenport, starts at Brady Street HillÂ

Time: 8 a.m.Â
The 7-mile road race the race begins at Brady Street Hill, goes through Kirkwood Boulevard, turns up Jeresy Road and then right on Middle Road and then turns right onto McClellan Boulevard, where runners and walkers will then turn around and go the same way back to Brady Street, where they will then turn onto E. Third Street and make their way to the finish line near at the intersection of E. Third and LeClaire streets.Â

Russell's Beat the EliteÂ
Russell’s Beat the Elite athletes are given the opportunity to race and try to beat the overall winner of the Quad-City Times Bix 7. The two people selected will be given a head start depending on the needed handicap to make the event competitive.Â
This year’s Beat the Elite runners are Kelsey Allbaugh and Phil Young. Allbaugh and Young will have head starts of 2.2 miles and 0.85 miles, respectively. If they can beat the winning runner to the finish line, they each win a $2,500 prize.

Packet Pickup and ExpoÂ
The Running Wild Sports & Fitness Expo is the official race headquarters for the Quad-City Times Bix 7 and will be held at the RiverCenter South Hall, located at 136 East Third Street, Davenport.
Packet pickup and late registration is on Thursday, July 23, from 5-9 p.m., and Friday, July 24, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Limited packet pickup will be available on race morning from 6 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. There will be no in-person race registration on Saturday morning.
The Expo will be open during packet pickup hours on Thursday, July 23, from 5-9 p.m., and Friday, July 24, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
John Deere Shakeout runÂ
Location:Â John Deere Pavilion, downtown MolineÂ
Date: Friday, July 24
Time: 8 a.m.Â
The John Deere shakeout run is an open invitation for Bix participants to run or walk one or two miles along the Mississippi River with Bix legends Bill Rodgers and Joan Benoit Samuelson. The run starts and ends at the John Deere Pavilion in Moline.Â
How is the race timed?Â
A disposable timing chip called a B-tag is located on the race bibs. These chips do not need to be collected after the race.
When to arrive and lineupÂ
Participants are urged to arrive early and no later than 7:45 a.m.Â
With thousands of entrants and spectators converging on the downtown Davenport area, officials urge plenty of extra time for parking.Â
There are color-coded line-up areas. Brady Street from the starting line back to River Drive will be flagged off for the lineup. Only those wearing an entrant’s number will be allowed within that area. No one except seeded runners will be allowed to enter the lineup from the front at Fourth and Brady. All other runners must enter from their own color-coded area.
Where to parkÂ
Parking is available at three city parking ramps for $2 starting at 5 p.m. on Friday, all day Saturday, or all day Sunday. The locations are;
River Center ramp – Enter East of Brady on 2nd & 3rd.
101 Main Street ramp – Located North of River Drive.
202 Harrison Street ramp – Enter on Harrison and on Ripley between 2nd & 3rd.
On-street parking is also available throughout downtown Davenport and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking is also available near Modern Woodmen and the Freight House Farmers Market along the Riverfront and is also available on a first-come, first-served basis.Â
