The top four finishers in Saturday’s elite women’s race were all seeing the Quad-City Times Bix 7 course for the first time in competition — making for an exciting win for Rachael Chebet.
Last year, Max Murphy was edged out in the final meters by Devin Allbaugh for the Gregg Newell Award. Murphy turned the tables Saturday.
