Enzo's Burger opening in late 2026 in Davenport
Enzo's Chicken, a popular locally-owned chicken joint in East Moline, announced on its Facebook page on Sunday, Aug. 2, that it plans to open Enzo's Burger late this year in Davenport.
"Enzo's Burger has entered the chat. Give us a follow! Opening late 2026 in Davenport," the post read.
Enzo's Burger will be a fast food restaurant and will be located on 53rd St., according to the post. Enzo's did not reveal the full address.
In comments on the post, Enzo's Chicken said they will only serve burgers at the new location and not chicken.
Enzo's Chicken is a popular casual restaurant that opened in November 2025, serving hand-breaded chicken tenders, sandwiches, wraps, and salads. Enzo's Chicken is located at 653 Avenue of the Cities in East Moline.

A&M Family Restaurant is located at 1143 E. Locust St. in Davenport. The Greater Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony for the restaurant at 10 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 8.
A&M Family Restaurant opens in Davenport
A&M Family Restaurant recently opened and is located in the former Los Primos Mexican Grill building, which closed in January, at 1143 E. Locust St. in Davenport.
The lunch menu at A&M Family Restaurant features a wide variety of sandwiches, burgers, chicken, wings, salads and other entrees.

Culver's in LeClaire opens Monday with ribbon-cutting ceremony
Fast-food chain Culver's will open a new location in LeClaire.
The grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place on Monday, Aug. 10. The ribbon-cutting begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by the grand opening celebration from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. The restaurant is located at 949 Mississippi View Court.
The franchisee, MJP LeClaire, announced the grand opening and ribbon-cutting on its Facebook page. MJP LeClaire is locally owned and operated by Mike Jones and Jordan Pencil.
"Join us as we celebrate this exciting milestone with our community! Whether you're stopping by for your first ButterBurger, fresh frozen custard, or just to help us celebrate, we'd love to see you," the post read.
The first 50 customers who make a purchase on grand opening day will each receive a surprise prize from MJP LeClaire. Prizes include free frozen custard for a year, Culver's gift cards, Culver's merchandise and more. Those who have one of their “Culver’s ducks” can bring it back in for a daily special offer from Aug. 10 to Aug. 16.
In a Facebook post shared in March, MJP LeClaire explained the inspiration behind the business name.
"Our business operates under the name MJP, which represents the owners, Mike Jones and Jordan Pencil," the post read. "Since we are partners on this journey, we chose to combine the ‘J"‘ in Jones and Jordan to represent our teamwork and shared vision as we bring our visions to life together."

Harkeys, restaurant and bar, grand opening celebration Saturday
Harkey’s will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, Aug. 15.
The celebration will feature live music from CraZy Ex from 7-11 p.m. outdoors, with the band performing a mix of rock, pop, and country music.
The new restaurant and bar is located at 306 10th Ave. in Orion.
Owner Shawn Harkey opened Harkeys, making it his second restaurant. He has also owned Benny's Pizza in Milan since 2008.

The Cultural Trust moving to new home
After years of operating from donated space in Bettendorf, The Cultural Trust is moving into a new home in downtown Rock Island. The organization’s new office is located at 100 19th St., Suite 108/109, Rock Island.
To celebrate the move, The Cultural Trust will host office tours beginning at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13, at its new location, followed by a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4:15 p.m. Immediately following, office tours will then resume as part of a neighborhood celebration featuring local bites and sips. The festivities will continue as Alternating Currents kicks off in downtown Rock Island at 5 p.m.
