Sips & Pours Co., new mobile bar, serving the Quad Cities
There's a new mobile bar serving both sides of the Mississippi River. Sips & Pours Co. is a mobile beverage catering company serving the Quad-Cities that provides full-service experiences for private and public events.
"While we began as a mobile bar under The Wandering Crowd, we’ve since grown into a full-service beverage catering company, Sips & Pours Co., said Cynthia Flores, owner and operator of Sips & Pours Co.
"Today, our services include our mobile drink truck, bartending for private and public events, and both alcoholic (dry-hire bar with certified bartenders) and non-alcoholic offerings. We were also recently honored with a Bronze Award for Mobile Bartending Services through the Eastern Iowa Wedding Awards."
Flores not only provides bartending services for events, but she has also collaborated with local food trucks and vendors serving coffee and specialty drinks.

Lifted Energy opens a second location in Silvis
Lifted Energy is expanding to a second location in Silvis, bringing its signature brews and energy drinks.

The new coffee and energy shop is located at 111 Sixth Ave., formerly Charged Coffee and Cocoa Shop which closed in November 2024.
Lifted Energy will reopen with normal hours on Monday, May 4. The new coffee shop has a drive-thru and business hours will be from 6 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday. Closed Sunday.

Coffee House opens on Arsenal Island
A new coffee with cozy vibes, curated blends and a community spirit can be found on the Rock Island Arsenal.
Coffee House on the Island is located in Building #60 on Rodman Avenue.

Operation hours for the new coffee shop are 7 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m.-noon Friday.
This is the second location for Coffee House, the first one located in the Village of East Davenport at 1315 Jersey Ridge Road. The Coffee House in East Village is open 7 a.m.-4 p.m., daily.

Iconic Precast, concrete manufacture, grand opening in DeWitt
The DeWitt Chamber & Development Company announced the grand opening of Iconic Precast, a new state-of-the-art precast concrete manufacturing facility located in DeWitt. Operations are set to begin in May, marking a significant milestone for local economic growth and regional industry expansion.
This multi-million-dollar investment represents a strong vote of confidence in DeWitt’s business environment and workforce. The new facility will create 25 fulltime jobs, contributing to the vitality of the local economy while strengthening the region’s position in the construction and manufacturing sectors.
The company specializes in architectural precast wall panels, structural precast systems, insulated wall panels, and custom-engineered solutions designed to meet the demands of today’s construction environment.
Panels can be ordered in variety of sizes up to 14 feet by 65 feet with a thickness of up to 16 inches. They also manufacture manholes and catch basins for underground utility projects.
