Coya's Café Mexican Grill opens at new location
The family-owned establishment, Coya's Café Mexican Grill, officially opened on Avenue of the Cities in Moline.
The Mexican restaurant celebrated its new location with a special ribbon-cutting celebration on Saturday.
Coya's is located at 2903 Avenue of the Cities, Moline, in the former Adolph's Mexican Foods at 2903 Avenue of the Cities. Adolph's closed in December 2022 after serving the Quad-Cities community for 70 years.
After eight years, Coya's Cafe said goodbye to its original home at 4320 Fourth Ave. in Moline on Tuesday, May 5.
Operation hours will be 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and 9 a.m.-1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Goldie's Deli, in LeClaire, to hold ribbon cutting

The Greater Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce announced the grand opening of its new location at 908 First Avenue in Silvis. The GQCGCC was located at 709 Fourth Ave. in Moline.
The community is invited to join in this milestone celebration on Friday, May 22, beginning at 2 p.m.
The free event will feature an official ribbon-cutting ceremony conducted by the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. The ceremony will celebrate the Chamber’s continued commitment to supporting Multicultural-owned businesses and fostering economic opportunity throughout the area.
The Greater Quad Cities Hispanic Chamber of Commerce invites local business owners, community leaders, elected officials, and members of the public to attend this special occasion. The Chamber looks forward to welcoming the community and continuing its mission of advocacy, networking, and economic development for entrepreneurs and businesses across the region.

Although AirCare has been in the Quad Cities since 2024, the new Davenport location offers crew quarters next to the helipad.
To celebrate AirCare’s new location, they will hold a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. on Thursday, May 21 at 3385 Dexter Ct, Suite 102 in Davenport.
When every second counts, AirCare, provided by University of Iowa Health Care and Air Methods, aims to deliver expert emergency medical care. As Iowa’s first and longest-serving emergency helicopter service, AirCare provides rapid transport for critically ill and severely injured patients, including neonates, children, and adults with complex or time-sensitive conditions.

The Cities Private Wealth Group ribbon cutting
The Cities Private Wealth Group will have a ribbon-cutting to celebrate its new facilities.
Newly opened in February of this year, this larger, 6,000 square foot facility allows the group to provide additional space to service clients and continue to grow the business. There will be refreshments provided by Hungry Hobo and Whitey’s. Stay after the celebration to enjoy activities for both adults and children.
