MUSCATINE, Iowa – Get ready, Muscatine — the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department is brewing up a frightfully fun Halloween celebration guaranteed to delight ghosts, goblins, superheroes, and tiny terrors of all kinds. Children are invited to roam through a glowing trail of treats, treasures, and costumes beneath a spook-tacular light show that will make Kent Stein Park come alive… or undead.
The Halloween festivities creep into action from 6:00–8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 24 at Kent Stein Park.
A parade of decorated vehicles and trick-or-treat stations will line the north side of Oneida Avenue, each one ready to hand out goodies starting at 6:00 p.m. Young witches and wizards are encouraged to arrive in full costume and bring their own trick-or-treat bag — you never know what magical surprises await.
Parking for mere mortals will be available on the south side of Oneida Avenue at Kent Stein Park, with additional parking just a short broom-ride (or walk) away at the Muscatine Soccer Complex.
Help us conjure up a night of Halloween magic. Volunteers are invited to decorate their trunks, bring the candy, and join the fun. Reserve your parking space by contacting the Parks and Recreation Department at (563) 263-0241 or emailing parksoffice@muscatineiowa.gov.
