MUSCATINE, Iowa – Muscatine’s riverfront will be buzzing with activity this Saturday as two popular community events come together for a full day of family fun, shopping, costumes, and fall festivities along the Mississippi River.
Families, friends, and visitors are invited to spend the day on the scenic riverfront enjoying the 15th Annual Fall Festival hosted by the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department and the Sixth Annual Pearl City Vintage Market presented by the Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
The day begins with the Pearl City Vintage Market from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the grassy area downriver of Pearl City Station. The market has become a favorite fall tradition, bringing together makers, collectors, artisans, and vintage enthusiasts from across the region.
The fun continues from 1-3 p.m. at Pearl City Station, 100 Harbor Drive, with the Muscatine Parks and Recreation Department’s 15th Annual Fall Festival.
Designed with young families in mind, the Fall Festival features an afternoon packed with festive crafts, games, activities, and plenty of Halloween-themed fun. Children are encouraged to wear their favorite costumes and join fellow ghosts, superheroes, princesses, and other creative characters for a celebration of the season.
While many Fall Festival activities are geared toward children in kindergarten through fourth grade, families of all ages can enjoy the riverfront festivities throughout the day. Both events are free and open to the public.
Whether you're searching for one-of-a-kind vintage finds, enjoying family-friendly activities, or simply soaking in the sights and sounds of fall along the Mississippi River, Saturday's riverfront celebration offers something for everyone.
Make plans to spend the day downtown, support local vendors, connect with friends and neighbors, and experience the energy of a community gathering together to celebrate the season.
