MUSCATINE, Iowa - At approximately 3:29 p.m. on June 18, 2026, the Muscatine Joint Communications Center (MUSCOM) received a 911 report of "clothes on fire in a bedroom" at 39 Gas Lantern Square.
Muscatine Fire Department crews arrived to find light smoke coming from a first-floor window of a manufactured home. All occupants had safely evacuated before arrival. Firefighters initiated an interior fire attack and brought the incident under control within seven minutes, at 3:36 p.m.
