For the Times
In today's edition, you'll find pages listing the people who participated in the third annual Bechtel Trusts Sr. Bix in Bettendorf on Tuesday. This is a new item for us to run, but it follows a tradition we've set with the Arconic Jr. Bix, Prairie Farms Quick Bix and the Quad-City Times Bix 7.
You can also expect to see two special sections from us this weekend. Both the Jr. Bix special section and our yearly Bix special section with the results of the race will appear in Sunday's paper. That's a change from past years, when the Jr. Bix section ran on Saturday. With changes to our printing process, it made more sense to us this year to expand our Bix-related coverage in the Sunday edition and run both special sections then.

Both special sections will also be available in the Sunday e-edition as well. And as always, you can find extensive, live coverage of the Bix on qctimes.com and qconline.com on Saturday.
Over the next few days, you can expect plenty of other Bix content, as well as continued coverage of non-Bix news. We are excited to see everyone for the Bix again this year and wish all the participants good luck.
