GREENWOOD, Ind. — Six Vikings have been named to the College Sports Communicators Women's At-Large Academic All-District team, the organization announced Tuesday. Waiahuli Akau and Emma Blezien of women's water polo, Colleen Chiavola and Rachel Wylie of women's lacrosse, and Aine Moffit and Jo Orozco of women's wrestling were among those recognized.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Akau, a junior from Pana'ewa, Hawai'i, is an elementary education major at Augustana. This season she earned second-team All-America honors after leading the team with 47 goals, while also recording 18 assists, 11 steals and 14 blocks. The junior was also named first-team All-CWPA earlier this season in April. This is her second straight year earning Academic All-District honors.
Blezien, a sophomore from Des Plaines, Ill., is studying political science at Augie. In the 2026 season, she earned All-CWPA honorable mention after finishing the season with 42 goals, 25 assists, 18 steals and two blocks in her 22 games.
Chiavola, a junior from Chicago, Ill., is studying civil engineering at Augustana and is a two-time recipient of this honor. She earned first-team all-conference and set the program record for single-season caused turnovers with 46. She ranked third in the conference with an average of 2.88 caused turnovers per game. Chiavola also led the team with 55 ground balls, placing sixth in the league at 3.44 per game. The junior recorded a season-high seven caused turnovers and added four draw controls during spring break at Albion.
Wylie, a senior from Bloomington, Ill., graduated with a degree in communications. In the 2026 season, she collected 38 ground balls and caused 23 turnovers on defense. Wylie earned a season-high of five caused turnovers and six ground balls on March 23 at Albion.
Moffit, a senior from Le Claire, Iowa, graduated from Augustana with a degree on the pre-medicine track. She finished her career with a historical performance in the 138 weight category after being the first All-American and CCIW champion in program history. Moffit was also the QC D3 National Invite champion and QC D3 National Invite Outstanding Wrestler. The senior set the single-season record for single-season wins with 36 and was a NWCA Scholar All-American.
Orozco, a sophomore from Romeoville, Ill., is on the pre-nursing track. She wrestled in all team score events for the Vikings at the 131 weight division.
Akau and Moffit are now eligible for CSC Academic All-American and will advance to the national ballot. The voting period will begin this week.
