The Coffee Revolution grand opening at new location

It's been almost a year since The Coffee Revolution started renovations at their new, larger location at 3303 Brady St., in the former Bike Rack sports bar building. Sunday, Sept. 7, was their last day of operation at their old drive-thru location at 2642 Brady St. in Davenport. 

The Coffee Revolution will open at their new location with a grand opening on Thursday, Sept. 18, from 6 a.m.-6 p.m. The coffee shop has a second location, with drive-thru with indoor cafe, at 2225 W. 53rd St. in Davenport.

The Coffee Revolution has a variety of products, including lattes, chai, cold brew, smoothies, autumn specials, a full Monster menu, sugar free menu and more. Visit their website at coffeerevolution.shop/menu-1 to view updated menu and photos.

I-80 Café opens in Colona

What was Brunch House 2 in Colona has reopened as I-80 Café under new management with a new look and new dining experience. The restaurant announced on Facebook on Friday, Sept. 5, that they are officially open. I-80 Café is located at 1356 Cleveland Road. 

"After weeks of hard work, long nights, and a full remodel, the wait is finally over ... I-80 Café is open! We've poured our hearts into transforming this space to create a warm and welcoming spot for everyone to enjoy. From fresh paint to new touches all around, every detail was done with you in mind. Today marks a brand-new chapter, and we can't wait to share it with our community," the post said.

New food truck "Patty Crepes Patty Crepes" opens

The name says it all. The new food truck, Patty Crepes Patty Crepes, makes marquesitas (crepes) — which are a thin, crispy wafer rolled up and filled with various toppings. They offer a combination of a crispy texture and a variety of sweet and savory fillings.

Patty Crepes Patty Crepes is a family owned and operated food truck in the Quad-Cities area. They held a grand opening at the Freight House Farmers' Market in August. The food truck also made a stop at the DeWitt farmers market.

Bonbon's Tacos now serving breakfast and energy drinks

Bonbon's Tacos is now serving breakfast burritos and infused energy drinks at their 1218 Brady St. drive-thru location only in Davenport.

Karaoke bar, Encore At The Roycroft, opens in Silvis

On Tuesday, Aug. 26, Chevin’s Kitchen located at 1228 30th St. in Rock Island, Kavanaugh's Hilltop bar and grill, now has lunch dining.
